Hi.
Since a couple of days all Silverlight-pages crash in IE (10) and Chrome. Strange enough it works in Firefox, but I have to allow it once to run on every new site I visit.
I have tried:
Uninstalled/installed Silverlight a lot of times.
Updated to IE 11, backed to IE 10 again, cleared out all history, coocies etc.
Run Microsoft Fix-it.
Run the CleanSilverlight.cmd suggesttion from MS that clean the registry from SL-related info.
If I browse to: http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx, It says: The version of Silverlight installed is: Silverlight 5 (5.1.30514.0) You are ready to use Microsoft Silverlight. So somewhere it's ok, I guess.
If I try to go to a Silverlight-site with IE, the screen just shows some error messages like 'A problem with this page caused internet explorer to close and reopen. And additional 'When a website causes a failure or crash, Internet Explorer attempts to restore the site. It stops after two tries to avoid an endless loop.'.
In Chrome it's like: 'Silverlight Plug-in Has crashed'.
I have win 7 Ultimate, 64 Bit
If anyone has any solution, or suggestion, please inform me.
Regards,
/Erik
