So I have read the answers to similar questions, but the latest was over a year ago.
What is the plan for support for Silverlight within mobile browsers? Are there any updates?
I have found Silverlight to be a great development tool for Windows Phone 8 and Windows Store / RT apps, but now I am starting a web based app and am very disturbed to find out that Silverlight does not seem to be supported on any mobile browsers, including Windows Phone and the Windows RT browser.
Are there plans to support mobile browsers? I would hope that Microsoft would not promote a technology for desktop, Windows 8 and Windows Store apps but force developers to go to a completely different technology for web development. That pretty much destroys any hope of developing a consistent look and feel across applications.
Is there any good news on the horizon?
