According to the Silverlight Release History page, version 5.1.40905.0 was released September 29, 2015.
That page references Microsoft Article 3099529, which includes a download link that leads to an error page.
According to that article, this version "Updates the Macintosh installer to successfully install on OS X v10.11 (El Capitan) systems."
I happen to have just installed OS X v10.11 (El Capitan) on a freshly-formatted Mac, and I'd like to install Silverlight on it.
I tried downloading it from the link on the 3099529 page (which doesn't work), and from the Get Silverlight page, which simply downloads the prior version.
Is version 5.1.40905.0 actually available for download? If so, can anyone provide me with a working link?
